Factors
Transfer
Factor Study
What are
Transfer
Factors?
Transfer factors are tiny natural
molecules found in the bodies of all mammals and
birds that transfer critical immune information
to cells. They work across species
barriers - from animal to person or animal to
animal - to transfer immune knowledge to the
naive immune system.
More Information on
Transfer Factors
How do
Transfer
Factors work?
Transfer factors educate your naive
immune system about a present or potential
danger and equip it with a plan of action. Transfer factors
educate the immune system
in three important ways. First, they
recognise the bad guys as harmful and determine
the best course of action. Next, they
respond, tailoring the immune response to your
body's needs. Lastly, they
support the
immune system's ability to remember past
invasions, allowing your body to more quickly
respond to similar health threats. In
addition, transfer factors can
balance the
immune system by suppressing it when it's
overactive, calming it back to a normal level.
In
the fifty years since
Lawrence's pioneering work, more than 3,000
scientific papers have been published, documenting the
benefits and safety of transfer factor’s use. However,
until recently, large-scale commercial production has
been impossible. But now, thanks to recently perfected
extraction methods, transfer factor benefits can be
available to all through 4Life Research's patented and
patent-pending Transfer
Factor Advanced Formulas.
How were
Transfer
Factors discovered?
In 1949, Dr. H. Sherwood Lawrence
determined that an improved immune response
could be transferred from an individual who had
recovered from a specific illness to a recipient
who had not experienced that illness. He
discovered a substance capable of transferring
the donor's immune information to the recipient
and named the substance transfer factor.
History of
Transfer Factors
Do Health Professionals work with Transfer Factor?
Yes. There are
already Health Professionals working with Transfer Factor
all around the world, including many
renowned surgeons
and doctors who recommend Transfer Factor to all
their patients.

Clinics!
Is
Transfer Factor protected by Patent?
Yes.
US
Patent 4,816,563 covers the
molecular extraction of Transfer Factor from colostrum.
4Life Research holds the license for that patent and the
Trademark for the name Transfer
Factor.
What prompted
scientists to look for Transfer Factors in eggs
and colostrum?
It was first noticed that when newborn
cows didn't or couldn't nurse, they quickly
died. Infection, and not starvation, was
usually the cause. Researchers realized
that the mother was passing immunity information
to the calf after birth and that the only means
could be transfer factors in her first milk, or
colostrum. It was then realized that birds
must also pass on immune information to their
own young.
What are the
advantages of using chicken eggs or cow
colostrum as a source of
Transfer Factors?
Both chickens and cows live mainly
outside, where they eat off the ground, drink
from shared water sources, endure varying
weather conditions and contend with the
challenges of communal living. This leaves
them exposed to a variety of germs, bacteria and
viruses, which their
immune systems must battle
and then remember in order for them to stay
healthy. It's the heroic nature of their
immune systems, needed for survival, that makes
them ideal donors for transfer factors.
Because transfer factors can be shared safely
and effectively from human to human, chicken to
human or cow to human, the combination of the
two sources offers powerful and effective
immune
system support.
Why not just supplement with
colostrum?
Transfer Factors are
non-allergenic whereas
colostrum contains many antibodies, large milk proteins
designed for the calf – primarily casein and
immunoglobulins that can cause
allergic reactions to
many people. In other words, Transfer Factor is not
species-specific – it is identical in all mammals.
Colostrum also
contains only random amounts of Transfer Factors,
so you would have to take about 75 times the amount to get
the same result. You would have to take up to 75 capsules
of colostrum to equal the power of just one capsule of
Transfer Factor Plus!
Which source of Transfer Factors does 4Life use in its products?
4Life extracts transfer factors
from cow colostrum and egg yolks to provide a
wide range of immune support. Using
patented and patent-pending processes, 4Life has
streamlined the extraction processes to
concentrate the power of transfer factors in
unique and innovative supplements that help
support the immune system.
Transfer Factor E-XF
-
4Life Transfer Factor Advanced Formula
products are made from 4Life's proprietary and
scientifically validated Transfer Factor E-XF
blend. Developed exclusively by 4Life
using patented and patent-pending technology,
the blend combines the immune knowledge of two
sources to deliver the benefits of transfer
factors from both cow colostrum and chicken eggs
to offer a powerhouse of immune support.
4Life Targeted Transfer Factor
- 4Life's line of Targeted Transfer Factor
products is part of a revolutionary support
system. Scientifically researched and
developed by 4Life, they target the power of
transfer factors extracted from eggs specially
farmed to support specific body systems.
4Life holds the exclusive patent for this
extraction process (US Patent 6,468,534).
Are
Transfer
Factors safe?
Transfer factors are natural molecules
and have been safely used in supplement form for
many years. Throughout the history of
transfer factor use, there have been
no reports
of serious adverse reactions, even when
clinically administered in excess or with normal
doses given over many years.
Possible Detoxification Symptoms
Who benefits from
taking
4Life Transfer Factor products?
People everywhere are looking for
solutions to keep their bodies and immune
systems operating at peak performance.
Mothers, fathers, teens, young adults, children
and seniors from every walk of life are facing
more and more challenges to their health.
Everyone who needs immune system support or who
simply wants to maintain their everyday health
can benefit from taking
4Life Transfer Factor
products.
Can anyone take Transfer Factor?
People of all ages can use transfer factor.
Transfer factor
was, in fact, designed by nature for newborns.
People wishing to give transfer factor to
infants and children under age 12 should work
closely with a medical professional on deciding
what dose to take. Typically, children do well
with doses half that of the adult/label dose.
Infants would require somewhat less. While there
is no known toxicity to transfer factor, picking
doses for younger children and infants should be
done with prudence
Will Transfer
Factors survive in my stomach?
Yes. Unlike the antibodies and
proteins found in egg yolks and colostrum alone,
transfer factors readily survive the digestion
process and are easily absorbed. Stomach
acids and digestive enzymes won't degrade their
potency.
Can people with
allergies or lactose intolerance use
4Life
Transfer Factor products?
Yes. Transfer factors themselves
are non-allergenic. 4Life's extraction
process avoids or removes common allergens in
egg and colostrum sources. Any remaining
lactose in colostrum-derived transfer factors is
far below the amounts that typically cause
reactions. (As a precaution, people with
allergies specifically to egg yolks should check
with their physician before taking 4Life
products with Transfer Factor E-XF or Targeted
Transfer Factor.)
Why should I take
Transfer Factor if I was breastfed as an infant?
The transfer factors you received as an
infant helped educate and support your naive
immune system. But, immune cells regularly
die and are replaced, so the ongoing protection
from transfer factors lasts only a short time.
Because today, more than ever, we're exposed to
new immune challenges, taking transfer factors
on a daily basis to support your immune system
is critical to your health.
How often should
I take 4Life Transfer Factor products?
Our bodies create new immune cells that
need instructions every day. To meet this
need,
4Life Transfer Factor
products should be
used daily to give the
immune system the
continual support if needs to recognize and
respond to new and emerging health threats.
4Life Transfer Factor Plus
Advanced Formula can safely be combined with
Targeted Transfer Factor products to provide
effective immune support as well as target
specific body systems.
Are there
products available for those who prefer not to
swallow pills?
4Life offers both a
chewable version of 4Life Transfer Factor Advanced Formula as well
as chewable 4Life TF Kids. 4Life also
offers
4Life Transfer Factor Immune Spray, a
great-tasting throat spray that combines
colloidal silver with the power of Transfer
Factor XF.
4Life Transfer Factor
capsules
are also easily opened and the contents mixed
with formula, pureed foods or drinks.
If I take a
colostrum product can I get the same benefits as
taking 4Life
Transfer Factor?
Transfer factors are the most powerful
part of colostrum. While colostrum
contains small quantities of transfer factors,
you would need to take an enormous amount of
colostrum to equal the results that can be
achieved with
4Life Transfer Factor.
Colostrum also
contains bovine specific anti-bodies that can
cause allergies in humans and that your body may
reject. Transfer factors are not
species-specific. This means that from cow
to human, the colostrum may be different, but
the transfer factors are the same.
Is 4Life Transfer
Factor safe for children, even infants?
Nature designed transfer factors
especially for infants. Pediatricians give
4Life Transfer Factor
to children. You
can feel good about giving this product to your
entire family.
How safe is
Transfer Factor?
Transfer factors are natural molecules and have
been safely used in supplement form for many
years. Throughout the history of transfer
factors use,
there
have been no reports of serious adverse
reactions, even when clinically
administered in excess or with normal doses
given over many years.
I'm a generally
healthy person, why do I need to take
4Life
Transfer Factor?
Even when you feel "healthy", your
immune system may be working overtime to keep
you that way. You may not necessarily be
sick, but you might feel tired, fatigued and
generally "run down."
4Life
Transfer Factor can help
support your immune
system when it has become stressed.
Why 4Life
Transfer Factor?
4Life scientists have perfected a unique
and unconventional method, according to the
Transfer Factor patent, for producing Transfer
Factor XF (4Life
Transfer Factor). Unlike other spray
drying processes, Transfer Factor XF is produced
under low heat and proprietary processing
techniques that ensure the a high potency
product and longer shelf life.
Even batch of
Transfer Factor XF is validated for the highest
activity and quality. Transfer Factor XF
is produced naturally.
No chemical
additives are used during this process so that
the product stays natural, consistent and
chemical free in every batch.
With 4Life, you
can benefit from all of the products in our
Transfer Factor family.
We offer
Transfer Factor,
Transfer Factor Plus, TF Kids (a
multi-vitamin with Transfer Factor XF),
TF RenewAll (a skin renewing gel) and
tf Age Defying Effects (a complete system
for the skin).
Can anyone buy Transfer Factor?
Yes - just order online from
this shop and your
products will be delivered directly to your home
or office.
Is it expensive?
Compared to any other immune
boosting and modulating product on the market,
Transfer Factor is extremely cost effective. The
4Life Transfer Factor
products are the "Rolls Royce" of the industry. You
may be able to buy cheaper but you'll find that
effectiveness wins every time. When
it comes to your family's health, what's more important?
Cheap, or something that can really work?

Transfer Factor
Cardio
What is
TF Cardio?
Transfer Factor Cardio from
4Life Research Inc. is the most exciting nutritional
supplement for optimal heart health available today! It
begins with the power of Targeted Transfer Factor and its
immune benefits. In addition, it is packed full of all the
vital nutrients needed to support a healthy heart. TF
Cardio provides support for healthy homocysteine levels,
cholesterol levels, blood pressure levels and even
antioxidant support to fight damaging free radicals. TF
Cardio is one of the most complete heart support products
available today.
What
are
Targeted Transfer Factors? Targeted Transfer Factors are specialized transfer factors
that empower your immune system to focus toward conditions
that relate to heart health. 4Life Research is able to
manage avian sources for transfer factors in such a way
that it facilitates a production of focused or "Targeted"
Transfer Factors. 4Life Research then extracts these
Targeted Transfer Factors and make them available for use
in
TF Cardio.
What is
the difference between Transfer
Factor XF and
Targeted Transfer Factor? Transfer Factor XF and
Transfer Factors Plus contain
transfer factors derived from bovine colostrum. The
transfer factors in these products are polyvalent, which
means they provide a broad spectrum of immune benefits as
a result of the animals' years of exposure to a variety if
bacteria, viruses and other organisms. The Targeted
Transfer Factors found in Transfer Factor Cardio are
derived from avian (egg yolk) sources. Mother hens have
been placed in an environment where they can create
focused or Targeted Transfer Factors that provide specific
immune information relating to
heart disease. Targeted
Transfer Factor contains a smaller spectrum of immune
information, but is stronger and more specific to needs of
the cardiovascular system.
How can
Targeted Transfer Factor
help with my cardiovascular system? Along with a sensible diet and healthy lifestyle, a
well-function immune system helps maintain heart health.
this is where Targeted Transfer Factor plays a key role.
How do
antioxidants help my cardiovascular system? Free-radical fighting antioxidants like CoQ10, selenium,
copper, Resveratrol, zinc and vitamins A, C and E are
included in TF Cardio to help promote the efficiency of the heart
as well as the anti-oxidant benefits.
How
does red rice yeast promote healthy cholesterol levels? Red
Rice Yeast contains a variety of compounds called
monacolins. Monacolins have been clinically tested and
shown to inhibit the activity of an enzyme in the liver
that is needed to produce cholesterol. In addition, Red
Rice Yeast contains a mix of sterols (sitosterol,
campesterol and stigmasterol), isoflavones and unsaturated
fatty acids, which also contribute to maintaining
cholesterol at optimal levels.
Do I
need to take
Transfer Factor Plus and
Transfer Factor Cardio at the same time?
Yes. As explained in question
above, Transfer Factor Plus
contains polyvalent transfer factors that provide a broad
spectrum of support for the immune system.
TF Cardio provides immune "Targeting" Transfer
Factors aimed toward those conditions that have been shown
to prevent optimal cardiovascular health.
Can I
take
Transfer Factor Cardio if I have an egg allergy? Approximately one in a thousand people have egg allergies.
The main egg allergens are found in egg whites. Targeted
Transfer Factors are extracted only from the yolks of
unfertilized eggs. However, consult your doctor or health
professional before taking this product.

PMS Relief Cream
How does
PMS Relief cream work?
PMS Relief Cream
contains a balance of herbs, essential
oils and homeopathics, in an effective moisturizing
base to assist in the maintenance of female health. Myrrh, Rose geranium, Rose absolute, Sage and Clary
sage are all essential oils used traditionally in European
aromatherapy for their emmenagogue effects, i.e., to
balance and help maintain normal/regular menstrual
cycles. Wild yam helps to rebalance natural hormone levels
that may be imbalanced when experiencing
symptoms of
PMS, menstrual irregularity and menstrual pain. Homeopathic Progesterone and Wild yam are included
in this formula to assist the balancing effects of
the other ingredients. Evening primrose oil and Vitamin
E help to provide an antioxidant effect and enhances
the moisturizing properties of this cream.
What is the correct way to use the cream?
Starting
at the end of the your menstrual period, apply 1/4
to 1/2 5ml teaspoon each morning and night
to soft skin areas such as the abdomen, inner
thighs, breast, neck, upper chest, inner elbow, inner
forearm.
Rotate applications by starting on the inner
arms on the first day, then move to the neck on day
two, the
inner thighs on day three, the abdomen on day
four and finally the chest on day five. Then restart
by
returning to the inner arms on day six and so
on. Have a break (5-7 days) from the cream during your
menstrual
period.
What are the hormones that
control menstruation and
when are they needed?
The group of oestrogens
and progesterone are the two involved.
In a normal cycle the level of oestrogens
rise, peaking at around day 12, normally
resulting in the release of an egg from the ovary.
Levels
of this hormone group gradually drop
over the next few
days and at the same time the progesterone
levels rise. If the egg is fertilized then progesterone
levels
continue
to rise but if there is no fertilization
within 10-12 days after ovulation, then both
progesterone and the
levels of oestrogens subside resulting
in the
onset of menstruation.
When will I notice results?
Some women notice results
immediately and others may not notice results for one
to two months, as natural
treatments tend to work slowly. Women with lower
levels of body fat may notice faster results.
I have had a hysterectomy, so is the cream of any
use to me?
When the uterus (womb) is removed,
hormonal cycling by the ovaries will still occur. Often
after a hysterectomy
a women can still experience
symptoms of PMS.
So yes, the cream can be very beneficial in helping
to rebalance
hormone levels after a hysterectomy.
I have had my ovaries removed, so is the cream of
any use to me?
The cream will most likely be very
helpful because oestrogens can be produced in fat and
muscle cells
when the ovaries are absent by you still need
the balancing effect that ingredients in BioGest
PMS
Relief can provide.
I am taking the pill. Will using the cream upset the
action of the pill?
Always keep in mind that the
cream is designed to
“rebalance” hormone
levels so it should not effect the action
of the pill.
Can the cream be used all the time?
The cream is designed
to mimic natural cyclic hormonal levels, giving your
body a break for 5 to 7 days. This
allows the hormone receptor sites in the body
to stabilize the normal levels.
When do women need to use BioGest
Menopause Relief
or BioGest
PMS Relief?
BioGest
Menopause Relief
can be used by perimenopausal (nearing menopause),
menopausal and post-menopausal
women. Menopause commences, on average, around
50 years of age. BioGest
PMS Relief
is recommended
for women
from the onset of menstruation (teens) up until
menopause (around 50 years), depending upon the individual.

Bladder
Control cream
How do the BioLogic
Bladder Control
cream work?
The
Bladder Control cream contains herbs and essential
oils traditionally used in European aromatherapy for
helping to tonify and improve symptoms of a weak bladder,
thereby improving bladder control.
How long does it take before I see results?
Results may be seen in the first 4-8 weeks for BioLogic
Bladder Control
cream. Best results are generally
observed by 3 months. Once optimal results are achieved
a lower
maintenance dose (as recommended on packaging)
may be followed.
How long do I have to keep on using the products?
Duration
of use depends upon individual needs.
The lower maintenance dosage for products should
be followed
for 6-12 months before an attempt is
made to wean off the product. Since
bladder control
and incontinence
problems are often chronic (long term),
support measures
(such as the BioLogic products) may also
need to be followed long term.
Are there any side effects?
Whilst individual reactions
are of course always possible with any product, the
ingredients used in the BioLogic
products have no recorded side effects. They
are shown to be safe and are approved for use by the
Australian
government. It is always recommended to follow
the directions for use on BioLogic packaging.
Are there any contra-indications or will these products
interfere with any drugs?
There are no recorded
contra-indications or known drug interactions for the
ingredients in BioLogic
Bladder
Control. If you are taking
medication, it is best to consult your medical
practitioner or pharmacist for advice on any interactions.
How do I know it is going to work?
The ingredients
in BioLogic
Bladder Control
has a long history of traditional use showing
their therapeutic effectiveness. Both products
have been shown in pilot clinical trials to be effective
in the
relief of incontinence and symptoms of
a weak
bladder. A recent survey of 228 users showed
about an 80% positive response to treatment.
I have had surgery for my bladder. Can I still use
the BioLogic products?
Yes. BioLogic
Bladder Control
is suitable for use in individuals
who have undergone
bladder surgery. In fact a number of participants
in the clinical trials had previously undergone surgery
for their incontinence (without success) and
yet responded
well to the BioLogic treatments.
With regard to specific conditions;
Diabetics;
The BioLogic Incontinence Relief tablets
contain small amounts of maltodextrin (a simple sugar).
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding;
As a precaution, it is recommended
that the cream and tablets are not to be used during
pregnancy, especially
during the first trimester.
HRT;
There are no known contraindications.
Blood pressure tablets;
Although very unlikely, there
is some documentation that indicates that Horsetail
(found in BioLogic incontinence
Relief tablets) may potentiate the effects of
some of these medications (diuretics). As a precaution,
it is therefore recommended to inform your doctor
when
combining BioLogic incontinence Relief tablets
with blood pressure medication.
Heart problems;
There are no known contraindications
other than the precaution mentioned above.
Those taking many tablets;
There are no known contraindications
with other medications (apart from possible potentiation
of diuretics) but
when taking many medications, it is always recommended
that you inform your health practitioner.
